Venturers and Rovers
Medical Venturers and Medical Rovers are more than just a Scouting group — our members are passionate about making a difference, and for some it’s foundational to pursuing a career in health care or emergency services.
Whether you’re aiming to become a paramedic, nurse, doctor, firefighter, or just want to build real-life skills that actually matter, this program gives you hands-on experience in First Aid, CPR, Basic Life Support and more.
You’ll gain knowledge while building resume-boosting experience, and join a community of people who are passionate about helping others.
No fluff. Just skills, experience, and opportunities.
In the spirit of Scouting, we will challenge ourselves to do and be our best personally and spiritually.
Through our offer of service to the communities around us, we will be there for other people in their time of need to help in any way we can.
The Medical Venturer Program is for males and females 15 to 17 years of age. Venturers have the opportunity to expand their first aid skills while offering their services at community and Scouting events.
The Medical Rover Program is for young men and women aged 18 to 26. Our Rovers go beyond what they thought possible as they learn valuable skills that they take with them throughout their lives.
Medical Venturers and Rovers are passionate young leaders who combine adventure, teamwork, and community service. They gain real-world first aid experience, support local and Scouting events, mentor younger Scouts, and inspire future healthcare professionals—all while having fun and making a lasting impact in their communities.
The Mission of Scouts Canada is to help develop well-rounded youth, better prepared for success in the world.

We will provide a team of trained and experienced first aiders who will meet the specific needs of your event.
